Install a worker

Download the app for this computer and open the file. After that, look for Dorian Gray Worker in Applications, your app list, or the Start menu.

1. Mac
   Download for Mac

   Open the download. If macOS blocks it, right-click and choose Open.

2. Windows
   Download for Windows

   Open the download. If Windows asks for permission or to restart, allow it, then open the same file again after restart.

3. Linux
   

   In a terminal on Ubuntu or Debian:

   curl -fsSL https://doriangray.net/compute_fleet/download/script | bash

   sudo or a graphical password prompt is expected. Or download the script.

   A server with no desktop uses the same curl, with name, email, and phone on the command:

   curl -fsSL https://doriangray.net/compute_fleet/download/script | sudo DGE_ENROLL_NAME='Machine name' DGE_ENROLL_EMAIL='[email protected]' DGE_ENROLL_PHONE='+1XXXXXXXXXX' bash

The installer collects operational hardware details only: model, CPU, memory, storage, power, network type, and readiness checks. It does not collect files, usernames, software lists, serial numbers, MAC addresses, or local IP addresses.
